As a solo traveler, I appreciated being so close to McLean Park, where I could enjoy long walks surrounded by nature, and it was just a short trip to Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park, perfect for taking in the coastal views during my stay.

The beach was just a short drive away, which was super convenient. Plenty of restaurants and shops around, so easy to grab a bite or find some essentials. The room felt clean overall, especially the bed and bathroom, which were well-maintained. However, I found the furniture a bit outdated, with some peeling surfaces. The breakfast lacked variety, and there were some awkward seating arrangements in the dining area. The staff at the front desk were friendly and checked in on us after we arrived, which was nice. But I was disappointed that the breakfast area didn’t have anyone monitoring it and we had to get help from the front desk for any issues. I reckon just a bit more attention to the breakfast offerings and minor maintenance would go a long way.

But sweetie, the shower took longer than my morning routine to get hot! Also, one of the kids almost mistook the coffee table for a surfboard.

However, cleanliness was disappointing, especially with the sofa bed and fridge needing better attention. Housekeeping could have done a more thorough job overall, impacting the comfort of our stay.
